Practice 01:
1. Invert the “Copy” layer by pressing this keyboard keys (CTRL + I) or (CMD + I)
What happen is, it shows you the inverse of the colors in the image. You'll notice the dark areas are made white, this is because the opposite of black is white.
2. Turn off the “Copy” layer
3. Turn on the “Color Fill” layer
4. Change it blend mode to “Difference”
What will happen is it invert the image colors, giving you the exact result of the inverted “Copy” layer.
Other facts about the “Difference” blend mode
1. When applied to same images it result to a plain black
2. it subtract the colors on the blend layer (the layer you applied the blend mode to) from the underlying layers. this doesn't mean it desaturate the color like the hue/saturation adjustment layer do.
