How to Open PSD file
Double click on the downloaded PSD file, if you've installed Photoshop, it will automatically open.

Darker Color Blend Mode: It a blend mode that reacts mostly on white areas of the underlying layer(the layer below it). It is used to select or point out the white areas on the image below.

Practice 01:
1. Turn on the “solid color” layer
2. Change the “solid color” layer blend mode to “darker color”
What will happen is that it makes an hard edge selection of the highlights on the image.

It can also hide white areas, leaving only the black text in the active layer.

Practice 02:
1. Change the “example” layer blend mode to “darker color”
What will happen is that it hides the white background on the layer, leaving only the black text

Other Facts about the Darken Blend Mode
1. It can't blend together, layers with the same image.
2. Works on layers with different image, on colors and other adjustment layers.
